Second Place - Carnegie Mellon University - NeuroBank (Method to isolate, remove and store adult neural stem cells for use in treating certain neurological diseases and injuries )
Third Place - University of Oregon - Armozyme (Enzyme-enhancement company focused on improving the lives of people with diabetes)

Technology Track
Grand Prize - University of Texas at Austin - Evapt, Inc. (Offers services that aid software deployed as a hosted service and accessed via the Internet)
Second Place - University of Michigan - Savium Technologies LLC (Developing new class of broadband-phased array antenna systems )
Third Place - National University of Singapore - TMN Biofuels, Inc. (Technology to better deliver biofuel production)
